Ordering Information

I am happy to sell you some of my Toy Soldier Art.  It is pretty easy to buy.  Just use the shopping cart on the site, pick the ones you want and then pay.  I'll wrap them, box them, sign the box, pack them and send them to you.  Normally that is how it goes.

The only catch is when I run out of an item.  You have options.  If you do not mind waiting, I will paint up a new set for you.  That takes from a couple days to a couple weeks depending on what is at hand here. Should it take longer or something else is going on, you will hear from me ASAP.  Your other option is to ask for a refund on the item.  That is no problem thanks to the PayPal system we use.

Next we come to requests for custom work. The best thing to do if you want something customized is to ask. There are four possible answers I can give you:

  1. I can do it at no extra cost.
  2. I can do it at no extra cost, but it will take extra time
  3. That's a lot of work. It will take time and cost more. Here is what I can do and what it will cost you.....
  4. That is beyond our capabiltiies.  I cannot do it.

In other words. please ask. We probably can do what you ask.

You are getting items that are done by hand.  I handcast the soldiers, I handpaint them and I even hand fit, cut and glue the boxtop covers.

Here are the rules of the road:

This is an art product. As such, once it is shipped, it is non-refundable. All sales final.

The very nature of this art is crude. Hand-casting is an imperfect thing. Your item may have small flaws. That is part of the nature of this art. If you want an individual product with character and individuality, you will love Toy Soldier Art. If you want a high degree of perfection and conformity, then you might be better off looking elsewhere.

Because these are done individually, they may be slight variations. Your item may vary slightly from the one shown here on the website. These variations make each piece truly one of a kind.

Sometimes the alloy gets brittle. Do not drop or handle these items roughly. They can break. If one does break, you can repair it with super glue. A benefit of these alloys is that they work well with super glue.

These do not make good toys for children. The best soldiers to buy for the kids are the bags of plastic army men. They are hard to break, for one thing. Items like Toy Soldier Art are adult collectibles.

Prices include postage for the USA only. For overseas shipping, email us before ordering. Overseas postage has become a hassle the past few years and it is pricey.

Items will come individually wrapped to protect them during transit. Our boxes are done mostly for art and display. We could just send you the soldiers themselves, but that would not be aesthetically pleasing. The boxes look cool because they are art. Each box is autographed by the author. Combined with the soldiers, they are a single art product.

The standard soldiers are within the 54mm to 60mm scale ( 2 1/4" to 2  5/8"). In other words, a standing man would be that tall in those respective scales. We also have non-standard sized figures.  When the non-standard figures are offered, we will make conspicuous notice of their size.
