Staten Island Rapid Transit, a.k.a. Staten Island Railway, runs along the south short of the Island from the Staten Island ferry terminal at St. George to Tottenville near the Arthur Kill. This double-tracked, electrified line (third rail) provides reliable and efficient service. The Bay Terrace Station was right outside our back terrace when we lived on Staten Island. For your enjoyment, then, here's the little commuter railroad that we call our own!
