Here is the MOW train headed West on its way to deliver track sections to Great Kills. Yes, the track is pre-fab sections, not unlike sectional HO or N scale track. The locomotive is a powerful and loud little fellow whose horn tends to shake up anyone on the platform.
Entering Bay Terrace, flat with track is in the lead
Track car is pushed by 70 ton diesel |
This diesel has been rebuilt a few times |
Caboose is used as a mobile shop |
Two empty flats trail the diesel |
Caboose is at the train's end |
The headlight is all that remains to be seen.... |
