Ocean Grove Train Show 2003

Once again, the Crawford family sponsored the annual Train Show at Ocean Grove fir the Holiday season.  Held in the 13th and 14th, the free show featured O27, HO, and N scale layouts as well as a display of live steam trains.  Despite the bitter cold of Saturday and the wet rain of Sunday, attendance was up this year.

The first layout is G scale.  It also hosts other unique and antique items.

Gary and his daughter, Amy.  Gary is a volunteer conductor at the Pine Creek Railway in Allaire State Park.

This house was bought around the corner from the show.  Thor bought one just before the show, to use on the Tinplate World.  Gary liked it, so he sent Amy to get one.  And them someone else liked it, and they went to get one,. and so on.

The Crawford's O27 layout features a 1948 Marx train and original cardboard houses from the 40s.  Most of the other ornaments are also vintage.

The skating scene is new this year, but everything else is quite old and unique
