Basic O27 Layouts for 4' by 7' and 4' by 8'
Here are several basic O27 Layouts made for smaller spaces. They allow for plenty of action, are easy to put together, and can be adapted further by you.

This O27 pike for 4' by 8' is like a stoned dogbone. You could have an 18" by 36" open space in the front center. |
Here we have added four switches to make two circles on the end of the loops. |
In this variation ,we have added spurs and sidings inside the loops. |
Here we have added a circle, curved cut-off and straight passing siding. |
An O27 pike for 4' by 7, with elevated track. Arrows point from the bottom of the grade. Actual start of grade is at gray circle. Note that you can only run shorter O27 type trains on this pike.
