MTH has been packing its Real Trax into sets for a few years now. It is a track for O gauge with a built-in roadbed. In practice, it uses a little more room than regular O Gauge due to the roadbed.
This layout is 4' 4": by 8'. It needs the extra inches to accommodate the track's extended width. By wiring the sidings as blocks, you can run a train and motorized unit (such as a trolley) at the same time. . The extended top siding can allow running of two trains at once. Note that the inner oval has had to be reconfigured.
