Bringing rail for track work
The front end tractor sets rail in place. A problem at Pine Creek is matching differeing rail weights and profiles. Most rail is donated.
This section is being made dual-gauge, to accommodate both 36" and standard 4' 8 1/2"gauge trucks. It is ths second time dual-gauge track has been laid in the US in fifty years.
