We finally managed to get the start of a TT railroad. Here's the first of it: a small 0-8-0 locomotive of German design, German flat cars with containers and an oval of track. Two of the five cars were all we needed to start. It ran on a coffee table the first time. Our hope is to eventually build a small TT display railway which can run two or three such trains simultaneously.
