The color illustrtations below are extremely accurate representations of American servicemen from 1916 through World War I. The uniuforms, equipment and colors are precise fir 1916. The only difference was the use of a helmet in 1917, and the substitution of puttees for gaiters by some units. We are fortunate that this resource was made.
