Some versions of the game have featured various other colors of Giant Knights like Green, Yellow, Red and/or Blue.
Some games have also been found which featured generic/non-brand-name Hong Kong Knights clearly made with the same Giant molds but not stamped with the Giant logo.
The Gold Crown Ad above was found in a 1967 comic book called Tales of The Unknown #100.
The close up images below feature some of the Gold Crown pieces we have found so far including Giant brand "War Horses" and Knights in Black & Silver, Green, Yellow and Red colors. Also seen are the original Gold Crown Playmat and the "Large Regal King's Crown" game piece itself which is what the invading Knights were after as the object of the game.
The very bottom image shows a reference photo we found that appears to feature a complete Gold Crown Game in original box. This game seems to include the bright colored Knights, Arrow Spinner, Directions, Helen of Toy Catalog, Playmat and a sprue or two with game pieces still attached (these appear to be the Castle Gates, Draw Bridges, Goat Head Rams & Gold Crowns.)
Finally, there is an insert image from a contributor that shows great detail of the Gold Crown Drawbridge, Crown Piece, Goat Head Ram, Catapult & Ammo.
