Our version is strictly "freight yard", but you could use the same plan for a small city, suburbs or semi-rural area.

You can have longer runs on these curves.

An interesting pike that allows for some interesting runs.  It can accommodate freight, commuter, shunting, streetcars - you name it.  Our example is an urban pike

A tale of two cities?  More like two city block separated by urban apartments.

The various curves in this pike allow long and short runs.

Our small city-scape is excellent for shorter car and loco types.  You can have a field day with Classic O and O27 sized cars and equipment.

Notes for the hobbyist: we have tried to use coordinating MTH accessories as much as possible on these Real Trax plans.  However, we have also used other brands.  In some cases, duplicate pieces were used.  A good hobbyist can change the duplicated by using paint and graphics, giving different signs to stores, etc.  As you can see, we pack a lot of action in these little railways.
