O-42 using MTH Real trax

These plans use a minimum curve diameter of 42" throughout.  They allow you to use longer cars and locomotives in a smaller space.  For those oriented more toward scale than Tinscale, the 42" allows them to include more scale realism in an otherwise tiny railway.  The Real Trax track geometry differs slightly from classic O and O27.  Though it can be substituted for O track, it is best handled on its own.  These railways make the best use of Realtrax for small layouts that offer the best of compact size and 42" O gauge operating.
