Built in 1908, Lackawanna Station served as a passenger station and the headquarters of the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad. After the disastrous merger with the Erie Railroad, headquarters was moved west, leaving the station to serve as the command center for the Scranton area. The end of passenger service in 1970 led to the building's abandonment. Fortunately, it has been restored and is now a Radisson Hotel. The facade has remained unchanged.
