Cast Iron Floor Train

Antique toy train

The train toy shown here belongs to friends. They use this wonderful antique to decorate their living room. It is in superb condition for such an old item. The train is a decent model of classic trains of the late 1800s.

Add Santa, Snowman and pine cones, and this old train gets its Yule dressing. The locomotive is a 4-4-0 American type.

The tender reads "Union Pacific". Note simple "coupler" at the back.

A cast-iron version of the old wooden coaches of the 1800s.

This car is a 'combine." It is passenger car and baggage car all in one. Combines were common on commuter lines.
