Would you like to help?

Though I take great pride in running and funding the whole show myself, I certainly would like to add more free features for the people.  For that, we need help.  My resources are stretched pretty thin this season, and there are some things that are out of reach.  Here are some of the projects I would really love to add:

Major headings for Standard, S, OO, TT and Z gauges

For that, I need trains, track, accessories, manuals and magazines.  My policy is to have personal experience before writing on any train or train product.  I'd need to have samples here, to look them over, run them, photograph them and add my personal insight about them when posting a section.  Right now, I can't do any one of them.  S would probably be the most affordable, but it would also eat up so much of our existing resources that all of our websites would be in a freeze for months.  If you have any S, OO, TT, Z or Standard gauge items that need a home, please consider this site.  Anything will be a help, greatly appreciated and used to expand our free online resources.

Old Manuals

I want to reprint more old manuals whose copyrights have expired or otherwise joined the Public Domain.  I'm especially interested in pre-war manuals from American Flyer, Ives, etc.  O and Standard Gauges, of course, and if possible, OO and HO.  I'm also interested in having S gauge, pre or postwar, such as American Flyer or others.

Junker Trains and Parts

I would especially like to have junkers - broken or disabled trains - in S, O, Standard and Large (G / #1) scales, although all scales and gauges are appreciated and welcome.  Also, parts of trains and accessories.  These will be used in some restoration, model making and kitbashing projects which I'd love to have online as step-by-step "how-to" articles.  If you have any to spare, let me know.  I don't have enough extra funds to buy them myself, what with other costs eating the hobby fund.  If you can spare them, please!  We will appreciate them.

Running trains

I am always looking for more trains to use in our online projects.  If you have any trains, track, etc. that you can spare, they would be greatly appreciated here. I don't have funds for buying, what with the hobby fund being depleted this season by this and my two other sites.  However, if you want to give any train a good home, I would greatly appreciate having them and use them in online projects.

More Traffic

We love having more and more people visit us.  If you can send more traffic our way,we greatly appreciate the help.

Plastic Soldiers, Tanks, Playsets, etc.

If you have old plastic soldiers that you don't want, I am always looking for them for our other site, The Army Men Homepage  It doesn't matter what type they are - soldiers, spacemen, cowboys, etc.  I am also looking for old playsets and plastic vehicles for the site.  If you have some, and want to give them a place where they'll be used online, I will appreciate having them.

I had approached a few companies about sponsorship, but they aren't interested.  For some, I suspect that it's because our site offers some things for free that they would sell for money.  For others, who knows? Most didn't even reply.  We're a popular site with growing traffic and expanding free resources.  This season will see double last year's traffic.  My attitude: free for the people.  We will remain free for the people. I am committed to bringing more resources online here, no matter how long it takes.  I want you to have the kind of free resources here that save you money - money you would rather spend on a new train or some other thing you like. For me to get these resources here faster, I have to ask for help.

Do not feel obligated to help.  Enjoy what's here and use it.  That's what it's all about,  Help only if you want to, not because you feel you must. The resources on the site are free, and that means no obligation.  So by all means, use our resources and enjoy them.  Here at the All Gauge Model Railroading Page, free means free.

Happy railroading!

Thanks!
