We can do it with your help!
We're on the way to adding a major heading for S gauge, and it's only a matter of time and resources. You can help. Here's a list of things we would like to have, so that we can open a top-notch S gauge section:
1) Old printed materials - copies are okay. We don't need originals......just having copies of old S manuals, instruction sheets, catalogs, etc. will speed the work.
2) Track. We need S track: Original Flyer types and modern types, and every piece helps. Just a piece of track, clips, a lockon....it can be the thing we need to get a section of the S heading up faster.
3) Cars.....anything, even if it's in pieces. We're not looking for collectibles, but common S gauge cars of any type. That includes pieces,
3) Locomotives. Anything, whether it runs or not, whether it's whole or in pieces, or just the pieces themselves. Cheap little train set locos are just fine.
4) Accessories, or parts thereof.
5) Anything else.
Let's face it: the budget for the website got absolutely creamed this season, thanks to the need for new software (we have to update the videos, since they no longer support the old Vivo format) and the amount we dropped into our home and garden. It's our first year in this house, so we're working this plus two other websites on an absolute shoestring. I'd like to do it right. I hate to beg, but there's no other way.
There's been help already. John Foley from the NASG sent us a LOAD of literature and a nifty PFE reefer. That one car has been a help far beyond expectations. One car enabled us to get a better idea of S scale, to correct a few things on this site, and set the groundwork for a major section. Having it, we know that a major heading for S is only a matter of time. All help is appreciated.
Remember - this site is a free resource, and we are committed to making it the best resource out here. I have already loaded up 80+ MB of goods on site, and there's more to come. This time around, I need help to get things online in good time. A lot of people want S gauge, and we're going to provide it. Your help assures that it's a job well done.
Thanks!
Thor
