We have expanded to the lower end, adding a loop that allows continuous operation on our pike. Again, the bluff and elevation are just ideas for possible landscaping.. This entire layout can be run without an elevation. The size is 14' by 18'. We used 5 ' curves on the outer loop of the extension.
Here the expansion is upward around a pool. Our image is of a square pool but it can be adapted to any shape waterway. You can even expand or contract trackwork to suit your particular garden pool. Continuous running is available around the pool itself. You can even expand lower, as in the first layout on this page, making a truly spectacular railway. Adjust trackwork to suit your needs. This layout is 18' by 23'.
