Russian-Made Soviet Troops

These 45mm figures are miniatures of World War II Soviet forces.  What makes them unique is that they are of relatively recent manufacture, from Russia.  The set of eight figures depicts the men who fought in the "Great Patriotic War" from 1940 to 1945.  

There is a rifleman at attention, charging soldier in helmet,. bearded Cossack with captured German submachine gun and soldier with Russian PPsH submachine gun.

Prone machine-gunner (we have not assembled wheels), sailor throwing grenade, paratrooper landing and officer with pistol.  Paratrooper's resembles a 1/76 Spanish-made figure from the 60s..
