Unusual Clones of Tim Mee Vietnam-Era troops
While in Virginia recently, we stopped in a Dollar Tree store. (They don't have Dollar Tree in NJ) Among item offered were clones / conversions of the Tim Mee M16 figures. They were available in tan and green, of course. Also available were the same troops on light gray. While it is common to see German infantry and Civil War figures on gray, it is uncommon for Tim Mee clones. Could they have been inspired by the early "Army men" video games? Those games used tan, green, gray and blue characters.
