More Dinosaurs for You!

Dinosaurs remain one of the most popular themes among plastic figures.  Small sets of miniature behemoths are common because children love dinosaurs.

The set illustrated here came from Walmart.  These dinosaurs are larger than competing figures from Processed Plastic / Tim Mee and Tootsietoy / Lido. They come with a few "accessories" to boot.  Not bad for under $2.00

There is no sense of "scale" here.  The Tyrannosaurus Rex, Brontosaurus and Stegosaurus are scales larger than the triceratops types.  The pterodactyl (flying dinosaur) is way out of scale to everything here!

Trees and rocks provide scenery for the plastic dinosaurs.

Pterodactyl, triceratops and duck-billed dino.

These smaller dinosaurs are dwarfed by the brontosaurus.  There are three types of rhino-like dinos, and the lizardly fellow with the frill on his back.

The underside of the pterodactyl shows large talons.

Brontosaurus, tyrannosaurus rex and stegosaurus have been the most popular dinosaurs for at least four decades!

Size comparison with 54mm, 50mm and 40mm figures. Those who like to play "dinosaurs versus soldiers" can get an idea of "scale" here.
