Classic Lionel Layouts Revisited
4 x 8 Lionel Two-Loop Super O


The small Super O layout is simply two separate loops. The inside loop has a pair of sidings and a point-to-point track. I found that the 36" diameter curve was the widest that could be used on the spurs without cramming track and accessories. So it was that I opted to use wider diameter switches and curves on the O, O27 and Realtax layouts. These would make good display layouts, by the way.

Super O It takes a 4' 4" by 8' area.  Track pieces are standard sizes.
