End of the Line
Bayhead is indeed the end of the line, since the days of the New York & Long Branch. Its large yard has a loop so trains can turn around, and moset facilities support the diesel-powered passenger trains of NJ Transit. A modest lean-to is the station; the original structure has had a few modern fittings applied. BUT don't expect much else. Aside from the yard and the station, you'll find a few houses and a marsh and little else.
